Values-Based Leadership, with Bo Brabo

Today we speak about creating purpose-driven, values-based, high-performance cultures within organizations with Robert “Bo” Brabo, Author, Podcast Co-Host, Executive Coach, Speaker, and HR Consultant. 

Bo is the author of an Amazon top 100 book on Business Leadership, “From The Battlefield, To The White House To The Board Room”, and podcast co-host of “The Bo & Luke Show”.

Bo has an exceptional career from the U.S. Army as the Chief of HR Operations with the White House Communications Agency and as a Presidential Communications Officer for President George W. Bush and President Barack Obama. Throughout his career, Bo has always focused on the people and organizations, helping them tackle their challenges as if they were his own.

The best leaders empower junior leaders to take control, take charge and run their departments. They give their underlings and authority to run with ideas, tasks, running their department - give them purpose. They take care of their people, their families, the whole person concept, truly caring, individual approach. To achieve high performance in your company, you need to know about your teams, what impacts them and what is happening in their home and personal life. Understand the values each of the members of your company hold true and honor them.

The traits of veterans are described by Bo as individuals who have undergone significant leadership development, of which many executives never receive. Their training to work in high-performance capacities, in a zero-defect environment and support the mission is a prime example of the leadership qualities necessary for running organizations. When you add purpose, values and mutual respect and there is a perfect set of principles to cultivate to ensure a company thrives.
